Local payment rails, connected with your own credentials
QuoteFlow never becomes the merchant of record. You connect the gateway accounts you already have, and every cent your clients pay settles directly into your bank account.
Payment gateways
Four ways for South African clients to pay you
Enable one or all four. Clients see the options you've switched on, right inside their portal.
South Africa's best-known payment gateway. Accepts cards, instant EFT, Masterpass, Mobicred, SnapScan and Zapper.
- Settles into your own bank account on PayFast's standard cycle.
- Merchant ID, merchant key and passphrase from your PayFast dashboard.
Best for: Broadest local payment method coverage.
The card machine most SA small businesses already have. Online payment links settle into the same Yoco account.
- Lands in the Yoco account you already reconcile against.
- A single secret key from Yoco's developer settings.
Best for: Simple pricing, familiar to existing Yoco merchants.
Pay-by-bank instant EFT built on open banking. Clients pay from their banking app and confirmation is instant.
- Bank-to-bank, so there is no card fee eating into big invoices.
- Client ID and secret from your Stitch dashboard.
Best for: Lowest fees on larger invoices.
Cards and EFT with excellent developer tooling and strong coverage across South Africa and the rest of the continent.
- Next-day settlement into your linked South African bank account.
- Public and secret API keys from your Paystack dashboard.
Best for: Best fit if you also bill clients elsewhere in Africa.
How connecting works
Three steps, done once per gateway
- 01
Get your keys
Sign in to your gateway's dashboard and copy your merchant ID and API keys.
- 02
Paste them into settings
Add them under Settings → Payments. Keys are encrypted and only ever used server-side.
- 03
Switch it on
Enable the gateway and it appears as a payment option on every invoice in the client portal.
Beyond payments
The other connections you'll actually use
Email delivery
Transactional email for quotes, invoices, receipts, statements and reminders, sent from your business name with delivery tracking.
CSV import & export
Bring clients, products and opening balances in from a spreadsheet. Export any list or report for your accountant.
Manual EFT reconciliation
Your banking details print on every invoice, and EFT payments are recorded and allocated in a couple of clicks.
Multi-business
Run more than one entity from a single login, each with its own branding, numbering and gateway accounts.
Your keys stay yours
Gateway credentials are stored encrypted and are only ever read by the server when creating a payment or verifying a webhook. They are never sent to a browser, never shown again after saving, and can be rotated or removed at any time.
